  1. If you meant public transportation (considerably cheaper than taking a taxi the whole way): take the RER train (line B southbound, but that’s redundant since it’s the only line there and the only direction you can go from CDG Airport) to Châtelet station. Then take RER line A westbound (towards Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Poissy, or Cergy le Haut- it doesn’t matter which one since you’ll be getting off the train before line A forks to serve those destinations) to Nanterre Préfecture station, which should be within walking distance of your hotel according to Google Maps. I hope this helps!
EDIT: It looks like Nanterre Préfecture station is less than a mile from the hotel- a couple thousand feet, maybe- but if you have lots of luggage with you, or if your luggage is really heavy, you might consider taking a taxi. To verify these things for yourself, I suggest going to http://www.ratp.fr/ and clicking on the Union Jack at the top for the English version, and clicking on this link for the specific location of your hotel: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&ge…

  2. i would just jump in a taxi.. they know how to get you there
