I have recently joined the ranks of thousands of those ripped off from international postal and internet fraud. I basically spent $80 to ship my computer to a person in France. I get no help from USPS, it is out of my police jurisdiction, Interpol and Europol deal with only extreme situations and the FBI’s Internet Cyber Complaint thing is pointless. I had to go and find this person by myself through the address they asked me to ship them my package on french websites by going through the french white pages to find a “Patrick Mbeu” 403 Avenue De La Republique. MSN, the users email account that he used to scam me is still in working order while MSN just emails me back as “were doing all we can”. If I missed anyone to help me get my materials back please tell me. . . . I am just out of ideas. Does anyone know any agency or french police department number that can help, its Nanterre France, any help would be great.

  1. I am sure France has a phone directory , and likely it is online- and I’m sure you can find the phone number – hopefully you can speak/read French, because I can’t :(
You’ve put a lot of research and work into this, and I wish you good luck. A lot of scammers thrive on the fact that it is too difficult and time-consuming to pursue cases such as this, but maybe you can give this one a few sleepless nights and see justice done.
